CEREMONY OF PUBLIC OPENING OF THE MONUMENT TO THE FALLEN MEMBERS OF THE 4TH SQUAD OF THE SPECIAL POLICE UNIT

Today, in front of the Public Security Centre Bijeljina, Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska, Mr Dragan Lukač, together with the commanders and former membersof the 4th Squad of the Special Police Unit, performed the ceremony of public opening of the Monument to the fallen members of the Squad. During the ceremony, the consecration of the Monument was performed as well as mass to memory of the fallen member of the Squad. On  10 October 2015, the police officers of the Crime Police Sector in Public Security Center Doboj and the Police Station  Modriča, performed searches on  four locations in the municipality of Modriča, based on the obtained order of the Basic Court Modriča. These searches were performed based on  the suspicion that some persons were engaged in the production, processing and the sale of narcotic drugs. STUDENTS TAKING THE ROLE OF POLICE OFFICERS

Today, in Kralja Petra Street in the following part of the action “Drivers - School Is for Us, Caution Is for You”, police officers from the Police Station Foča have organized presentation for students of 4th and 5th grade of primary school in which they presented resources disposed of and used by the police in their work activities. The aim of this and similar activities is raising awareness about the necessity of increasing of caution on streets as well as teaching the youngest students about the proper and responsible behavior in traffic.
